I want to know the barrel lenght of the p416 in the game far cry 3. Theres a pic on imfdb under far cry 3. And its compared to a 10.5 sbr but the game barrel looks longer?

Does the 16 inch requirement seem adequate for these days..i mean i know the ATF has to get some tax money somehow but i do not see how rules created against gangsters who used double barreled sawed offs and full auto Tommy guns still apply to today standards of gun owners. 14.5 Mid Length Gas AR 15 – Advantages/Disadvantages

Trendy or Evolutionary? It shoots softer than a carbine gas system, but does that make it less reliable? So far my experience is positive with reliability and shootability. I will keep you updated if I have any issues. As a side note, I favored running a heavier buffer with my carbine gas system upper (also 14.5 barrel), to increase the bolt-chamber lock time in order to reduce extraction tension, and increase forward pressure on bolt when cycling. I have found the AR 15 platform to feature that inherent trade-off between feeding and extraction based on the bolt design which has more friction that that of the AK47 series of rifles. The 14.5 barrel carbine AR platform is proven, and we will see how the mid length performs as time rolls on.
